Severe and recurrent dryness is characterized by severe itching, chronic inflammation, altered skin barrier and the multiplication of the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, responsible for secondary infections. Innovation of BIODERMA, Atoderm Intensive is the first soothing and healing emollient that responds to the biological dysfunctions of atopic skin and their consequences. Atoderm Intensive quickly stops itching and reduces the urge to scratch thanks to its dermatological ingredient PEA. Enriched with soothing and purifying agents (beta-sitosterol / zinc), it immediately soothes irritations.
Atoderm Intensive permanently restores the skin barrier thanks to the exclusive patent Lipigenium, composed of bio-lipids naturally present in the epidermis. These bio-lipids are ideally integrated into the skin, creating a natural protective film from the first application. They biologically stimulate the synthesis of lipids and proteins (filagrin), which are the basis for the restoration of the skin barrier. The patented Skin Barrier Therapy complex allows on the one hand to limit the adhesion and reproduction of Staphylococcus aureus, and on the other hand prevents the penetration of allergens, the two main factors that worsen dryness. The skin is cleansed, soothed and applied once or twice a day to the skin after cleansing with Atoderm PP Gel moussant. In combination with corticosteroids or as a follow-up treatment.
