How the product BIODERMA Atoderm Intensive Gel, atopic dermatitis, contact eczema Cream works:

The patented active ingredient SKIN BARRIER THERAPYTM (sugar ester) effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause itching (Staphylococcus aureus) and thus brings the skin flora back into balance.
The BIODERMA sugar base DAFTM is a combination of three biomimetic, soothing sugars that prevent the inflammatory process. Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) stimulates the production of lipids and proteins and creates an intact skin barrier.
The contained enoxolone derivative has a calming and itch-relieving effect. Glycerine and the hydro-absorbent technology sustainably improve the skin's moisture supply.
Like all BIODERMA products, Atoderm Intensive gel-crème contains 9-fold purified water, which is very similar to the cell water in our skin cells and is therefore highly compatible.
The formulation respects the biology of the skin and brings it back to its natural balance over the long term.
