Biotebal Max is a vitamin medicine containing 10 mg of biotin, a vitamin belonging to the B vitamin group, which supports the processes of keratin formation and differentiation of epidermis cells, hair and nails.
Biotin deficiency causes symptoms in humans such as: fatigue, paresthesia, hair loss, dermatitis located around the eyes, nose, mouth, ears and groins, conjunctivitis, impaired growth of nails and hair and their excessive brittleness; additionally, metabolic disorders may also occur. fats, such as an increase in the concentration of palmitic acid in the liver and cholesterol in the blood serum. It is believed that the cause of skin lesions and hair loss resulting from biotin deficiency are disorders in fat metabolism.
Biotin supports keratinization and differentiation of epidermal cells and skin appendages, such as hair and nails, improving their condition.
Indications
Biotebal Max containing 10 mg of biotin is used to treat biotin deficiency with symptoms such as:

Composition
Active substance: Each tablet contains 10 mg of biotin.
Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone K 30, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
Dosage
The recommended dose for adults is 5 mg to 10 mg daily. The usually recommended dose is 5 mg (also available on the market) daily or in cases of severe symptoms 10 mg daily. The tablet should be taken with a sufficient amount of water (e.g. 1 glass). The duration of treatment depends on the patient's condition and the course of the disease. Remission of symptoms is observed after approximately 4 weeks of use.
