Voltaren Forte blunt trauma 140 mg 5 medicated patches
Voltaren Forte is a pain-relieving drug. It belongs to the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It is intended for the short-term (up to 7 days) local, symptomatic treatment of pain associated with acute strains, sprains, or bruises of the upper and lower limbs resulting from blunt trauma in adolescents aged 16 years and older and in adults. The active substance is diclofenac sodium. Each medicated plaster contains 140 mg of diclofenac sodium. Other ingredients are: Outer protective layer: Polyester nonwoven fabric; adhesive layer: Polyacrylate dispersion, Tributyl citrate, Butylhydroxyanisole (E320); protective (removable) layer: Monosilicone-coated paper.

How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is one medicated plaster once a day. Stick one medicated plaster onto the painful area. The maximum total daily dose is 1 medicated plaster per day, even if more than one site is to be treated. Only one painful site can be treated at a time.
Precautions:
When should you not use Voltaren Forte?
- if you are allergic to diclofenac or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- if you are allergic to any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID, e.g. acetylsalicylic acid or ibuprofen);
- if you have ever developed asthma attacks, hives, or swelling and irritation of the nasal mucosa after taking acetylsalicylic acid or any other NSAID;
- if you have an active stomach and/or duodenal ulcer;
- on damaged skin (e.g. abrasions, cuts, skin burns), infected skin and inflamed skin (wet dermatitis) or eczema;
- on women in the last 3 months of pregnancy;
- on children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
