BLUpan®soft OSD eye drops

BLUpan® soft OSD forms a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic, clear protective film for the cornea.
BLUpan® soft OSD contains sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid, which, due to its special physical properties, forms a uniform, stable, and particularly long-lasting protective film on the cornea without impairing vision
.

BLUpan® soft OSD therefore provides long-lasting relief from complaints associated with

  • mechanical stress, e.g. when wearing hard or soft contact lenses or during diagnostic procedures on the eye,
  • Environmental stress, e.g., from air conditioning, wind, cold, dryness or air pollution, e.g., from cigarette smoke
    or
  • for strained eyes, e.g. when working on computer screens, microscopes or during long car journeys.

Because they are preservative-free, BLUpan® soft OSD is particularly well tolerated even with long-term use. BLUpan® soft OSD is also suitable for contact lens wearers.

The contact lenses do not need to be removed when using the eye drops.

Application
To open the bottle, remove the safety ring by pulling on the pre-formed tab until it is completely removed (1). Then lift the cap by pulling upwards (2).
Tilt your head back slightly, look up and gently pull the lower eyelid away from your eye. Hold the bottle with the dropper opening facing down and, by applying firm, sustained pressure, apply one drop into the conjunctival sac of the eye 3-5 times a day
(3 + 4). Close your eyes slowly so that the liquid can spread evenly over the surface of the eye.

Avoid any contact with the dropper opening with your eyes or hands. Any drops remaining at the dropper opening should be removed by gently tapping the bottom of the bottle. Then replace the cap on the bottle by gently pressing. If symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult an ophthalmologist.

However, the bottle's special sterile air filter system also requires that a few seconds of waiting without applying pressure to the bottle after each withdrawal to allow sufficient air to flow in. Without this waiting time, further
withdrawal is difficult. Furthermore, due to physical reasons, this requires slightly more pressure as the bottle becomes increasingly empty.
