BRAIN ENERGY capsules 60 pieces
Mental fitness is characterized by a good memory and the ability to pay attention and concentrate. Just like our body, our mind also needs regular training to stay fit. Components of our diet can also help to maintain cognitive abilities into old age.
Brain Energy is a combination product with a balanced mixture of B vitamins, the plant extract ginkgo biloba, lecithin and NADH.
Lecithin (phosphatidylcholine) is one of the phospholipids. These are contained in every cell of the human body and belong to the family of membrane lipids.
Phospholipids have fat-soluble and water-soluble properties. This enables phospholipids to mediate at interfaces between water and oil. They form the main component of the lipid bilayer of cell membranes, i.e. the outer shells of all human cells. Phospholipids are also abundant in the brain.
NADH (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an important coenzyme in the body. It is produced in the body from both the water-soluble vitamin niacin and the breakdown products of the amino acid tryptophan. Since both raw materials are essential, deficiency symptoms are rare but possible.
Brain Energy contains a number of B vitamins. The group of B vitamins is found in both plant and animal foods. An exception is vitamin B12, which is not found in plant foods. Unlike other water-soluble B vitamins, it can also be stored in the body. The B vitamins (such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, vitamin B6 and B12) play an extremely important role in nerve function. Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance. All B vitamins play an important role as regulators and activators in metabolism.
For example, biotin contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates). Riboflavin, on the other hand, helps protect cells from oxidative stress and folic acid, vitamins B6 and B12 are involved in maintaining the immune system. Other B vitamins, in turn, help maintain normal skin, hair and mucous membranes and are characterized by a reduction in tiredness and fatigue.
Ginkgo (botanically correct: Ginkgo biloba) is a tree species native to China that is now planted worldwide. Its valuable ingredients include flavonoids and terpenes. A tea has been made from the leaves for thousands of years.
Thiamine (vitamin B1), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and vitamin B12 support the normal function of the nervous system.
