INSERTING THE BATTERIES

1. Slide the battery cover on the back of the product.
2. Insert 2 AAA alkaline batteries, observing the polarity as shown in the diagram.
3. Close the battery cover.

HOW TO USE THE BREATH ALCOHOL TESTER
HEATING

1. Press and hold the power key to activate the product. The tester enters HEAT mode.

2. The following two modes show the preparation of the product for test mode

  • The green LED lights up for a short time.
  • The yellow and red LEDs will light up, then go out and only the green LED will stay lit. The tester is ready for operation.

3. PLEASE KEEP THE POWER BUTTON PRESSED THROUGHOUT THE TEST!

· The warm-up time is between 5 and 15 seconds and it depends on the condition of the sensor and the environment.

· There is always a quantity of gas and dirt on the surface of the sensor when you first remove the tester from its packaging or after a long period without using it. In these cases, more time is needed to clean and heat the sensor and it is necessary to restart the product several times.

Result reporting:

1. After the HEATING is over / the red and yellow LEDs go out /, take a breath for 2-3 seconds, bring the tester 3-5 cm from your mouth so that you can continue to see the LEDs and normally, without applying force, exhale to the opening for inhale for 3-5 seconds.
2. Report the test results:

· Only the green LED continues to light - SAFE, the alcohol concentration is at levels: below 0.02% BAC * (0.10 mg / l BrAC **);

· Only the yellow LED lights up - WARNING, the alcohol concentration is at levels: from 0.02% to 0.05% BAC * (0.10 mg / l to 0.25 mg / l BrAC **);

· Red and yellow LEDs light up together - DANGER, alcohol concentration is at levels: over 0.05% BAC * (0.25 mg / l BrAC **)

3. Release the power button after the test is completed.
4. For a more reliable result you can repeat the test 2-3 times.
USING THE FLASHLIGHT
Set the flashlight switch to the “ON” position to turn on the light and “OFF” to turn it off.
To avoid inaccurate results, do not test for alcohol while the flashlight is on.

REPLACING THE BATTERIES
When the light from the LEDs or the flashlight starts to dim, please replace the batteries with new ones.

BREATHING ALCOHOL TESTER for multiple use with a flashlight WARNING:

· It is recommended that the alcohol test be performed at least 20 minutes after alcohol consumption. This is the approximate time for the alcohol to be absorbed into the blood from the digestive tract and the residual alcohol in the oral cavity to be dissipated.

· For an accurate result, do not repeat the test less than 3 minutes before the previous one.

· It is preferable not to eat or smoke for 20 minutes before the test.

· Do not use chemicals to directly clean the tester.

· Do not inject liquids into the inhalation port.

· Do not use near volatile substances, such as paint, disinfectants, disinsectants, etc.

· Do not leave the tester in polluted air.

· Changing and repairing the electronic components will result in a reporting error.

· The product is designed to be used as an aid to contribute to prudent driving. The result should not be expected to confirm that you are working with machinery, equipment or driving.

· The device does not give an official result for the concentration of alcohol in the blood or for the presence of other narcotics controlled by the government, medical or other agencies.

· The result of the alcohol test is informative. The manufacturer does not undertake any commitments related to the laws of the country.

· Each individual organism reacts differently to alcohol. An individual may be unable to drive at a blood alcohol saturation point lower than officially allowed.
