It accelerates healing by lowering the pressure in the injured tissue and allowing the wound to decongest. The effect of Bromelain-POS ® is based purely on the plant-based pineapple enzyme bromelain.

Taking and dosage of bromelain acne scars, Bromelain-POS ®
Adults and adolescents over the age of 12 take one Bromelain-POS ® tablet 1-2 times a day . Due to insufficient studies, this medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age. The tablet should not be divided as the tablets are coated with an enteric coating. The stomach acid would partially destroy the active substance and the effect of the medicine would be reduced. The coating protects the tablets in such a way that the active ingredient passes through the stomach undamaged and is only released in the small intestine. Bromelain-POS ® should be taken unchewed with a little liquid (eg a glass of water) about half an hour before meals. Take Bromelain-POS ®without medical or dental advice for more than 4-5 days; in justified cases, use over a longer period of time is possible.
