Indications and Action:
Prevention and supplementation of calcium deficiency in the body, e.g., during pregnancy or lactation, in the treatment of osteoporosis, and as a supportive treatment for allergy symptoms.
Calcium is an essential mineral, contributing to the maintenance of the body's electrolyte balance and the proper functioning of many regulatory mechanisms. It is essential in many processes, including neuromuscular conduction, muscle function, proper skeletal development, blood coagulation, activation of certain enzymes, and the permeability of cell and vascular membranes. It has anti-exudative and anti-edematous effects. The organic calcium compounds contained in the preparation are easily absorbed by the body.
Composition:
100 ml of syrup contains 29.4 g of calcium gluconolactobionate and 6.4 g of calcium lactobionate; 5 ml contains 115.6 mg of calcium ions. The preparation contains sucrose.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Hypercalcemia, e.g., in patients with hyperparathyroidism, severe renal failure, hypervitaminosis D. Hypercalciuria, severe renal failure, nephrolithiasis. Atrioventricular block.
