Canesten 0.5 mg is a vaginal capsule. The drug is used in women over 16 years of age to treat intimate infections with fungal origin. The preparation relieves symptoms of infection such as burning, itching and discharge.

Composition of Canesten 0.5g:

Active ingredient: Clotrimazole (Clotrimazolum). One vaginal capsule contains 500 mg of clotrimazole and auxiliary substances: capsule filling: white petroleum jelly, liquid paraffin; capsule shell: gelatin, glycerol, purified water, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), sunset yellow (E110), soy lecithin, medium chain saturated fatty acid triglycerides.

Operation of Canesten 0.5g:

The active substance used in Canesten 0.5 g is clotrimazole, an imidazole derivative. This drug has a broad spectrum of antifungal activity. It helps to relieve itching, burning and vaginal discharge, i.e. symptoms accompanying intimate fungal infections.

Application:
Canesten 0.5g is indicated for the treatment of vaginal infections and female external genitalia caused by microorganisms such as fungi (mainly Candida) sensitive to clotrimazole.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. Do not swallow. The possibility of using the drug in pregnant women should be discussed with your doctor, but you should not use the drug in the first trimester, and then use your finger for application, not the applicator included in the package. The possibility of using the drug in breastfeeding women should be discussed with a doctor, but it is not recommended to use the drug during breastfeeding, it is recommended to stop feeding during the treatment. Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Side effects:
