Biotraxx Cdl Plus Chlorine Dioxide Solution is an effective, yet gentle, and biodegradable disinfectant for drinking water . Cdl Plus is effective against a wide variety of germs, including biofilms and Legionella . The solution is ready-to-use and can be used directly for water disinfection. You can simply add the chlorine dioxide solution to drinking water to eliminate harmful germs. The pipette allows you to dose the solution very precisely. Before first use, Cdl Plus is activated with a powder component. This significantly extends its shelf life. Activation tubes are included with the product.

The solution can be used just six hours after activation. Biotraxx Cdl has a shelf life of approximately six months. The high-quality violet glass bottles, which protect the contents from light, contribute to a particularly long shelf life. Inactivated, Biotraxx Cdl can be stored for several years.

The drinking water disinfectant Cdl Plus consists of a chlorine dioxide solution < 0.29% in water. The antibacterial power of the solution is generated by oxidation. After the oxidation process, the chloride ion remains in the solution. The amount is comparable to a few grains of table salt. The chlorine-like taste is barely noticeable due to the pH-neutral application.

Chlorine dioxide is one of the most reliable active ingredients in the germ-free treatment of drinking water. The intestinal bacterium Enterococcus faecium can no longer be detected even at low concentrations of Biotraxx Cdl Plus after 25 minutes of exposure. Chlorine dioxide is many times more powerful than hydrogen peroxide or chlorine.
