Areas of use:
Chronic constipation (obstipation), illnesses where easier bowel movements with soft stools are desired, e.g. in the case of tears in the anal mucosa (anal fissures), hemorrhoids, after surgical interventions in the rectum area.
For supportive treatment of diarrhea of various causes.
Illnesses where an increase in daily fiber intake is desired, e.g. in the case of irritable bowel syndrome.
For supportive treatment of slightly to moderately elevated cholesterol levels in addition to a diet
