Organic cold-pressed castor oil
The castor bean plant is mainly cultivated in India, Brazil, and China. Castor beans contain 40-55% fatty oil. Pressing yields an almost colorless to pale yellow oil with a very faint, characteristic odor and mild taste.
Applications:
The pharmaceutical industry values its natural origin and uses it as a medicine (laxative) and as a raw material component. It is also used in the production of cosmetics.
