Appearance: Colloidal silver in its liquid form is usually colorless, slightly yellowish, or distinctly yellow to brown. Especially at higher concentrations, the silver water can take on an increasingly yellowish hue. Important: A yellow color, or the absence thereof, does not indicate quality. The silver water must always be clear – without cloudiness or solid particles. |
Concentration: Different concentrations are suitable depending on the intended use of the colloidal silver. The concentration of the colloidal silver increases with a higher ppm (parts per million) value. This effect, described by the Swiss scientist Carl Wilhelm von Nägeli,
states that the ions of some metals
can have a damaging effect on various pathogens. These pathogens
include bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The extent to which the effect of
colloidal silver is comparable needs to be examined and confirmed in further studies.
