Indication :
- The preparation is a mixture of digestive enzymes obtained from pig pancreases (pancreatic enzymes).
- The medicine is used to replace digestive enzymes in cases of digestive disorders (maldigestion) due to insufficient or missing pancreatic function (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency).
- If you don't feel better after a few days or even feel worse, contact your doctor.
Dosage :
- Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
- The treatment aims to achieve or maintain a normal body weight and to normalize the frequency and consistency of bowel movements.
- In each case, the dosage depends on the severity of the pancreatic disease. As a general guideline dose, a lipase content of 20,000 - 40,000 Ph.Eur. units per meal is recommended.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
- 1 hard capsules per meal (corresponding to 30,000 Ph.Eur. units of lipase per meal).
- The required dose may also be higher. The dose should only be increased under medical supervision and should be aimed at improving the symptoms (e.g. stool fat excretion, abdominal pain).
- A daily enzyme dose of 15,000 - 20,000 units of lipase per kg of body weight should not be exceeded.
