COXAMIN 60 tablets
Coxamin is a unique, calcium-based, all-plant-based product. It is produced from calcified Red Algae - Lithothamnion Calcareum. They inhabit limited areas around the clean coasts of southwestern Ireland and western Iceland. The life cycle of algae is four to five years. For this relatively short period, they absorb a large amount of minerals from the sea.
Coxamin has a unique porous structure, similar to honeycomb, which after primary hydration changes to smooth. It does not resemble the chalky, grainy structure with which we usually associate the idea of a calcium product.
Coxamin is the best digestible calcium product. Calcium derived from Lithothamnion Calcareum is 20% more efficiently absorbed than calcium in dairy products and just over 40% more than tricalcium phosphate.

In Coxamin , the content is divided between three polymorphic forms - calcite, aragonite (ortho-rhombic structure), vaterite (hexagonal structure). Calcium carbonate, for example, consists almost entirely of calcite, a rhomboid lattice form.
Coxamin is not just calcium. It also contains magnesium (2.5%), boron, copper, manganese, selenium, zinc and many other trace elements and minerals (74 in total). The magnesium minimum is necessary for the good absorption of calcium by the body, and boron and zinc play an important role in the biovitality of the calcium source.
Coxamin is unique, different from all sources of calcium with a formula free of lactose and phosphates. It does not contain pesticides, preservatives and dyes.
Its purely plant origin makes it suitable for vegetarians.
