The yellow gold of Asia: the turmeric root
The turmeric root is much more than a spice. In the tradition of India, the plant, also known as turmeric or Siam tulip, has played an important role for centuries. The decisive factor are the curcuminoids contained in the rhizome with the active lead substance curcumin.

The scent of heaven: Indian incense
For centuries, incense has played a major role, especially in oriental countries. The Egyptians, for example, used it for embalming, incense and disinfecting.

For them, incense was considered the fragrance of heaven, reserved only for gods.

The frankincense tree grows primarily in dry, mountainous areas such as semi-deserts.

The Indian frankincense that is used to produce the dry extract in curcumin -Loges® plus Boswellia comes from the Indian frankincense tree or salai tree (Boswellia serrata). The resin that emerges after the trunk is notched is obtained from October to March. Indian frankincense contains many valuable ingredients. The most important are certain polysaccharides (multiple sugars), essential oils and resin acids (especially boswellic acids). The latter play a major role in research.

Micellar technology enables optimal absorption in the body
However, in order to be able to exploit the potential of both extracts, one would have to ingest very large amounts. This problem is circumvented by a special technology that is used in curcumin -Loges® plus Boswellia :

Both the turmeric and the boswellia extract are available for the first time in so-called micelles.

These are stored around the molecules and thus ensure better absorption into the body. With curcumin a 185-fold and with the boswellic acids a 50-fold bioavailability compared to the pure extracts is achieved.
