Deflegmin Junior, syrup 15 mg/5 ml 120 ml

Deflegmin KIDS syrup for children for wet cough. It facilitates expectoration of secretions retained in the respiratory tract and relieves cough. Indications

:

Deflegmin KIDS is an expectorant syrup for children. The dose is adapted to the needs of children. Therefore, Deflegmin KIDS can be used from 1 year of age.
Deflegmin KIDS syrup for children liquefies secretions retained in the respiratory tract and reduces their viscosity. As a result, Deflegmin KIDS syrup facilitates expectoration and relieves wet cough. The active ingredient in Deflegmin KIDS – ambroxol hydrochloride – is responsible for this effect.
Deflegmin KIDS is indicated for oral use in acute and chronic lung and bronchial diseases associated with difficult expectoration of viscous secretions from the respiratory tract.

Action:

This medication has a mucolytic effect. It increases mucus secretion in the respiratory tract, stimulates the production of pulmonary surfactant, and stimulates the function of the cilia of the respiratory epithelium. It facilitates expectoration and relieves cough.

Dosage:

Adults and children over 12 years of age: initially, for 2 to 3 days, 10 ml of syrup 3 times daily, then reduce the dose to 10 ml twice daily.
Children from 6 to 12 years of age: 5
ml of syrup 2 to 3 times daily. Children from 2 to 6 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 3 times daily.
Children from 1 to 2 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 2 times daily.
Administration: For oral use. Deflegmin KIDS should be taken after a meal. Do not take it immediately before bedtime.

If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 4 to 5 days, contact your doctor.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, a double dose should not be taken to make up for a missed dose. Discontinuation of Deflegmin KIDS has no adverse effects, except for the possibility of worsening the symptoms of the condition for which it is being used.
Overdose: No specific symptoms of ambroxol overdose have been described in humans. Symptoms reported after accidental overdose and/or misuse of ambroxol were consistent with the known adverse reactions following the administration of Deflegmin KIDS at recommended doses. Symptomatic treatment may be necessary.
