What is DERMATIX Ultra Gel, scar treatment gel, Silicone gel?
Dermatix ® Ultra is a silicone gel to be used on the skin. It is invisible and dries quickly. During the treatment of scars resulting from operations, burns and injuries, it helps to maintain the skin's moisture balance.

Dermatix ® Ultra has been shown to flatten, soften and smooth scars. It reduces pain, itching and scar discomfort as well as scar-related redness.
Dermatix ® Ultra is a light, non-greasy gel that can be easily applied to all areas of the skin, including the face, joints and other parts of the body that are heavily stressed by movement. It dries quickly to form an invisible film and leaves the skin feeling clean and silky.

Dermatix ® Ultra was developed using essentially the same long chain polymers used in silicone gel topical sheets. It is available as a gel in a tube. The gel contains cyclic and polymeric siloxanes and vitamin C esters and is available in 6g, 15g and 60g tubes.*

When should Dermatix ® Ultra, DERMATIX Ultra Gel, scar treatment gel, Silicone gel be used?
Dermatix ® Ultra is used for the prevention and treatment of bulging scars (keloids) and excessive scarring (hypertrophic scars) such as B. arise during general surgical procedures, traumatic injuries and after burns.
