Unguentum Zinci "Lexer" SR

Areas of application:
Zinc oxide has a covering-protective and secretion-binding effect in acute and subacute dermatoses (skin diseases).

Contraindications:
Unguentum Zinci „Lexer“ SR must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to zinc, wool wax alcohols or other ingredients of the ointment.

Precautions for use and warnings:
Avoid applying to large areas of skin exceeding 20 percent of the body surface. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Wool wax can cause localized skin irritation (e.g., contact dermatitis).

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you can use Unguentum Zinci “Lexer” SR during pregnancy and breastfeeding if used as directed and the dosage instructions are followed. However, large-scale application, especially on the breasts of breastfeeding women, should be avoided.

Interactions with other products:
Completely remove any zinc oxide-containing residues from the affected skin area before applying other dermatological products, as the effect of other dermatological products may be impaired.

Dosage instructions, method and duration of application:
Apply to the affected skin areas several times a day, and with each diaper change for infants, and cover with gauze if necessary. There is no time limit on the duration of use.

Overdose and other application errors:
Especially in children, accidental ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, gastritis, and fever. If you have any further questions about its use, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

100 g of ointment contain: Active ingredient: Zinc oxide 10.0 g. Other ingredients: Yellow petrolatum, hoof oil, sorbitan trioleate GOT, wool wax alcohols, purified water.
