Desloraderm ® – Proven help for hay fever and hives
Itchy eyes, tingling nose and the crooks of your elbows are full of wheals – allergy sufferers can already guess: the tormenting pollen season has begun. With the active ingredient desloratadine, Desloraderm ® provides a whole day's relief against annoying allergy symptoms - and with just one tablet.
What is an allergy and how does it develop?
In the event of an allergy, our body's immune system reacts in a defensive manner to foreign substances that do not actually pose a health risk, such as pollen, house dust mites or animal hair.
In order to get rid of these allergens again, certain cells of the body's defense system, so-called mast cells, release the messenger substance histamine. This histamine is responsible for allergic symptoms.
Symptoms of an allergy
An allergy usually manifests itself through typical complaints, which can occur individually or together and to varying degrees. These include itching of the nose, runny nose, watery and burning eyes, itchy skin rash, exhaustion, lack of concentration or shortness of breath.
How does Desloaderm ® work ?
With the proven active ingredient desloratadine, Desloraderm ® blocks histamine (antihistamine). Desloraderm ® contains the antihistamine desloratadine, which is an already converted form of loratadine. The body therefore no longer has to convert the active ingredient and the effect can occur more quickly. Desloratadine relieves allergic reactions such as itchy, red eyes or a runny nose. It is also used to treat symptoms associated with hives. These include itching and wheal formation
Treat hay fever at an early stage
Hay fever symptoms should be treated early. Otherwise there is a risk that the allergy will spread from the nose to the lower respiratory tract. This can lead to chronic bronchitis or allergic asthma. Doctors refer to this as a "change of floors". Early treatment can specifically counteract hay fever and noticeably improve the quality of life.
