The Schülke hand disinfectant desmanol ® care is a dye- and perfume-free alcoholic rub-in preparation for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, with additional nourishing panthenol.

Areas of application
Hygienic hand disinfection (EN 13727 + EN 1500): Rub a sufficient amount into dry hands for 30 seconds.
Surgical hand disinfection (EN 13727 + EN 12791): Rub a sufficient amount into dry hands and forearms for 90 seconds.
The medicinally active ingredients propan-2-ol and ethanol are effective against bacteria (including mycobacteria), yeast fungi * and many viruses.
The effectiveness of desmanol ® care against viruses includes enveloped viruses (classification "limited virucidal") ** .
Instructions for use
The product is used undiluted. During the exposure time for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection, the hands or hands and forearms must remain well moistened for the entire application time.
Warnings
Do not spray into an open flame, keep away from sources of ignition. Do not ingest! desmanol ® care contains cetylstearyl alcohol.

Based on current knowledge, the results allow conclusions to be drawn about the effectiveness against other enveloped viruses, e.g. hepatitis B virus, HIV virus.
