DIABEKAN with chromium and magnesium Application:
Diabecan is a specially designed combination for diabetics, containing a concentrated extract of cinnamon / Cinnamomum zeylanicum /, chromium and magnesium.
Research has shown that Ceylon cinnamon extract:
• helps maintain normal blood sugar levels;
• stimulates insulin receptors and increases the ability of cells to utilize glucose;
• helps control high triglyceride levels;
• does not irritate the stomach due to the specifics of the aqueous extract used;
• can be taken for a long time and together with drug therapy;

Cinnamon
Cinnamon has been used for food and medical purposes since ancient times. Its traditional use is quite wide: from wound healing to treating colds. Only in recent years have researchers discovered its use in maintaining normal blood sugar levels.
Cinnamon extract differs from ordinary cinnamon in the absence of side effects after long-term use for therapeutic purposes. Common cinnamon contains some ingredients - oils and even coumarin, which can cause stomach irritation. A specially developed aqueous extract of Ceylon cinnamon was used in Diabecan. When processing this cinnamon extract, only the water-soluble components of the plant are extracted. This contributes to the safety of the extract.
The active substances in cinnamon extract have been found to be water-soluble polyphenolic polymers. They are unique in that they increase the body's absorption of glucose and improve the action of insulin through its strong antioxidant effect. Animal and human studies have shown that cinnamon extract stimulates insulin receptors and inhibits enzymes that suppress them, thus significantly increasing the ability of cells to utilize glucose.
Cholesterol and triglyceride levels were also seen in the studies. This is due to the fact that cinnamon extract has a strong antioxidant effect, which significantly reduces the rate of accumulation on the arterial wall.
Chromium
Chromium is a great insulin assistant.
Chromium enhances the anabolic effect of insulin by binding to phosphorus molecules in insulin receptors, thus accelerating the infusion of glucose into the cell (up to 100 times faster).
With age, chromium stores in the body decrease, while modern diets are poor in this trace element.
The addition of chromium to the basic formula of Diabecan optimizes and improves its effect.
Magnesium
Magnesium in Diabecan promotes the formation, secretion and transport of insulin. The loss of magnesium in the urine (due to polyuria) in diabetics is greater and therefore requires its additional supply.
Composition:
In one capsule: 200 mg dry extract 10: 1 (aqueous extraction) of Ceylon cinnamon / Cinnamomum zeylanicum /, corresponding to 2 g of cinnamon powder; 0.81 mg chromium picolinate (chromium 0.1 mg); 150 mg magnesium hydroxide (magnesium 61.5 mg) excipients.
