Many women want natural and safe contraception - without hormones! With the new Caya® diaphragm you can use contraception safely and independently, when you need it.
Caya® is inserted into the vagina like a tampon before sex. It completely covers the cervix and lies between the posterior fornix of the vagina and the niche on the pubic bone. During and after sex, Caya® prevents sperm from entering the uterus.
After intercourse, the Caya® diaphragm must remain in the vagina for at least 6 hours.

The Caya® diaphragm is a new barrier contraceptive for women - easy to use and hormone-free.
It acts as a mechanical barrier at the cervix.
During and after sex, Caya ® prevents sperm from entering the uterus.
Indications:
Women,
- who want or need to use hormone-free contraception (e.g. if there is an increased risk of thrombosis)
- who do not want or are not allowed to use an IUD
- during breastfeeding
- who only want to use contraception when they have sex
- after a birth/between two pregnancies
- who have a latex allergy
- in combination with natural methods of family planning (e.g. symptothermal method)

Application:

Contraindications
- within the first 6 weeks after childbirth
- if a conventional diaphragm 60 mm and smaller or 85 mm and larger was used
- with severe lowering of the pelvic floor/uterine prolapse
- Not to be used with lubricants made from silicone oil (Dimeticon)
