- WHAT IS DOLOBENE AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Dolobene gel is a combination product containing heparin, Dexpanthenol and dimethylsulfoxide.
Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) improves the penetration of other substances through the skin, reduces inflammation and relieves pain.
Heparin reduces blood clotting and accelerates contusions (bruising), healing (disappearance).
Dexpanthenol protects and softens your skin.
Dolobene is used to reduce swelling and relieve pain caused by indoor muscle, tendon, ligament and joint damage (inflammation of the tendon sheath, intrabursal inflammation) and sports injuries (bruising, contusion, sprain, tennis elbow ,, "compression, dislocation).
- BEFORE YOU DOLOBENE
Dolobene Do not
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) dimethyl sulfoxide and / or heparin or any of the other ingredients Dolobene material;
- If you have asthma;
- In patients with severe liver and / or kidney failure;
- If you are circulatory disorders and lupus erythematosus (autoimmune connective tissue disease);
- Younger than 5 years of age;
- In combination with sulindac.
Take special care with:
- Dolobene should not be applied to open wounds, broken skin and mucous membranes.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
As a precaution, if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take the medicine or consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Driving and using machines

Adults
A thin layer of gel (1 mm thick) applied to the affected area 1-2 times a day.
Dolobene gel does not need to rub: it only needs to be gently applied and leveled to the affected area.Use only externally.
After administration of bandages: Do not use air-tight dressing. After the airtight bandage applied as a thin gel layer (about 1 mm thick). Before rišdami dressing, allow the gel to penetrate the skin.

If you take a large dose Dolobene
No reports of overdose.
If you forget to Dolobene
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
- POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Dolobene, like all medicines, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Taking Dolobene may cause undesirable effects listed below.
The use of dimethylsulphoxide is rare allergic skin lesions: redness, itching, burning sensation occurs.These symptoms may be due to the blood vessels of dimethyl sulfoxide widening impact. Following dosing, usually they disappear.
Briefly, after Dolobene gel dosing, patients are sometimes seen in the emergence of garlic smell. This odor is associated with dimethylsulfide (DMS) as a metabolite of dimethyl sulfoxide and disappear in a few minutes.
It has been observed gastrointestinal disorders: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, loss of appetite.
In isolated cases, it may cause skin allergic reactions: itching, rash (urticaria) and partial asymmetrical face, skin or mucous membrane swelling. In such cases, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.
If the side effects gets serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
- HOW TO STORE DOLOBENE
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
After each dosing tube in a good screw.
This medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
On the carton after "EXP" and the tube after EXP after the expiry date, Dolobene not be used. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. How to dispose of medicines no longer required, ask your pharmacist. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Dolobene composition
- The active substance is heparin sodium salt (Heparinum natricum), dimethyl sulfoxide (dimethyl sulfoxidum) Dexpanthenol (Dexpanthenolum). 1 g of gel contains 500 IU of heparin sodium and 150 mg of dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), 25 mg Dexpanthenol.
- The other ingredients are Carbopol, trometamol, hydrogenated castor oil, isopropanol, rosemary essential oil, lemongrass essential oil, pine needles essential oil, purified water.

Dolobene Gel is a clear, slightly cloudy, colorless, homogeneous, with a distinctive smell.
