This medicine is used in adults and children over 10 years of age to treat symptoms of abdominal pain or discomfort (e.g., bloating, distension), which may be accompanied by irregular bowel movements and changes in stool consistency, including diarrhea and/or constipation, caused by a malfunctioning digestive tract. by relaxing muscles and relieving pain. Duspatalin Gastro contains mebeverine hydrochloride. It belongs to a group of medicines called antispasmodics, which act in the intestine. The intestine is part of the digestive tract. Its walls are made of muscle. Digested food moves through the intestine. If the intestinal muscles contract strongly, this causes pain. Duspatalin Gastro works by relaxing muscles and relieving pain.
Directions for use:
1 tablet 3 times daily. Take this medicine 20 minutes before meals at regular intervals throughout the day.
Contraindications:
This medicine should not be used in children under 10 years of age, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or if the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients.
Side effects:
Difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, neck, lips, tongue, or throat. This may be a severe allergic (hypersensitivity) reaction to the medicine. If any of the above symptoms occur, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately. Less severe allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions to the medicine may occur, such as a rash or red, itchy patches on the skin.
Warnings and precautions:
Swallow the tablets whole with a sufficient amount of water (at least 100 ml). Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Composition:
The active substance is mebeverine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, starch (corn or potato), povidone (K25), talc, magnesium stearate. Shell: talc, sucrose, gelatin, gum arabic, carnauba wax.
