sanotact ® Cistus Infection Pastilles - The natural protective shield for increased risk of infection. Sugar-free lozenges with Cistus and Echinacea extract.

We all know the challenge: the cold seasons are approaching and people around us are coughing or sneezing and we don't want to catch an annoying infection ourselves. A cold is often accompanied by respiratory diseases that cause coughing and sore throats. Other infection risks, such as the corona pandemic, have negative effects on the throat and pharynx.

The sanotact ® Cistus Infekt pastilles have a very special effect with their ingredients gum arabic/cistus-echinacea. The active complex forms a protective shield over the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat. This barrier supports the physical defense against viruses and bacteria and thus prevents them from penetrating the body's cells. The further proliferation of harmful organisms is thus prevented and the development of an illness is prevented. In addition, dry coughs and irritating coughs are alleviated by gum arabic. The pastilles can therefore be used as soon as the throat starts to scratch, rather than just for acute problems.

The sugar-free lozenges have a pleasant fruity-mint flavor and are vegan.

Ingredients:
1 lozenge contains 840 mg gum arabic/cistus-echinacea active ingredient complex

Other ingredients: maltitol, sorbitol, purified water, ascorbic acid, citric acid, flavor, peppermint oil, vegetable oil, acesulfame K.

Cistus
Cistus (lat. Cistuscreticus) had a permanent place in Mediterranean medicine in pre-Christian centuries. Even today, the rural population there maintains the custom of making tea from the leaves of the cistus to help fight off respiratory infections.

Echinacea
Echinaceapurpurea (coneflower) was used as a medicinal plant by the natives of North America hundreds of years ago. The Indians used coneflower to treat coughs and sore throats. European settlers quickly recognized the potential and the plant came to Europe and has been used there since the late 18th century.

Supports the defense against infections
The protective barrier of the gum arabic/cistus-echinacea active ingredient complex of the sanotact Cistus Infection Pastilles supports the defense against viruses, bacteria and other harmful substances. The active complex forms a protective film over the throat mucous membranes. Viruses, bacteria and other harmful substances simply bounce off this physical barrier, provided you take preventative measures or self-medicate when you first feel a scratchy throat in order to ward off impending infections at the first sign.

Recommended consumption:
Helps to support the defense against a risk of infection of any origin by forming a physical barrier on the throat mucous membranes. Relieves dry coughs and irritating coughs.

Suck 1 lozenge slowly in your mouth 3 to 6 times daily (every 2 hours).

Children over 6 years: 1 lozenge once daily. Children over 12 years (and at least 25 kg body weight): 1 lozenge 3 times daily.
If there is no improvement 2-3 days after starting treatment or if the symptoms have worsened considerably (e.g. if a fever of 38°C or higher occurs), please consult a doctor. The lozenges contain malitol and sorbitol and can have a laxative effect if consumed in excess. Keep out of reach of small children.
