ESPUTICON x 100 capsules, dimethicone

Indications for use of the drug ESPUTICON are: flatulence, excessive amount of gas in the intestines, flatulence, aerophagia. The preparation can be used as preparation for some X-ray and ultrasound examinations.

ESPUTICON dimethicone Composition:

1 capsule contains 50 mg dimethicone. 5 g granules contain 150 mg dimethicone. 1 g drops contains 980 mg dimethicone (1 drop contains 20 mg dimethicone).

ESPUTICON dimethicone Action:

Esputicon is a compound with low surface tension, it changes the surface tension of gas bubbles, causing the larger gas bubbles to break into small bubbles that are easily absorbed from the digestive system. Orally administered, it exhibits gastric acid resistance, has no effect on gastric acid pH. It is not absorbed from the digestive tract.

Dosage ESPUTICON x 100 capsules, dimethicone:

1 to 3 teaspoons of granules per day after meals and at bedtime.
