Essentiale Forte 3 x 50 capsules
Essentiale Forte is an
over-the-counter drug used in liver diseases to reduce subjective symptoms such as loss of appetite and a feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage resulting from an improper diet, the action of toxic substances, or hepatitis.
The
active substance is soybean phospholipids (Phospholipidum essentiale) containing (3-sn-phosphatidyl)choline; 1 capsule contains 300 mg. Excipients: refined soybean oil, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated glycerides of plant origin (Witepsol W 35), triglycerides of higher fatty acids (Witepsol S 55), ethanol, ethylvanillin, p-methoxyacetophenone, α-tocopherol. Capsule shell: gelatin, yellow iron oxide (E 172), black iron oxide (E 172), red iron oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171), sodium lauryl sulfate, purified water.
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 3 x 2 capsules daily. Take without chewing during meals (with a glass of water, e.g.).
Children and adolescents: Essentiale Forte should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance, soya, peanuts or any of the excipients.
