VisuXL ^® Gel, a new innovative product for the treatment of dry eye with moderate to severe symptoms, was launched in Germany in February 2020.

VisuXL ^® Gel is the smart eye gel with the unique combination of poloxamer 407 (emulsifier), coenzyme Q10 and cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, which enables transformation in the treatment of dry eye and combines the application advantages of a drop with the highly effective and long-lasting effect of a gel unites.

UNIQUE
VisuXL ^® Gel is unique due to its ingredients and is the first and only smart eye gel. Poloxamer 407 - an emulsifier - allows VisuXL ^® Gel to transform from a liquid in the bottle to a gel after contact with the ocular surface.

SIMPLE
VisuXL ^® Gel offers patient-friendly therapy. VisuXL ^® Gel forms a transparent protective film on the surface of the eye. It is suitable for day and night use, only needs to be instilled twice a day and offers patients unobstructed vision. In addition, VisuXL ^® Gel is preservative-free and suitable for contact lens wearers. It can even provide extra moisture to soft contact lenses.

EFFECTIVE
On the one hand, VisuXL ^® Gel contains coenzyme Q10: in addition to the antioxidant effect, coenzyme Q10 has been shown in studies to be highly effective in regeneration and an effective reduction in corneal damage. On the other hand, the cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose it contains creates a hydrogel for long-lasting eye protection and a longer stay on the surface of the eye.
