Eyelid hygiene wipes for blepharitis POSIFORLID:
Reddened eyelid edges, swollen eyelids and sticky eyelashes are among the typical symptoms of eyelid edge inflammation (blepharitis). The cause is often a blockage of the meibomian glands located in the edge of the eyelid. These glands are responsible for producing the fatty secretion of the tear film. If the composition of the tear film is disturbed, the surface of the eye and the eyelids become irritated. Twice-daily eyelid hygiene, consisting of cleaning and care, prevents inflammation of the eyelids by maintaining or improving the functionality of the meibomian glands. Application
1. Remove eye cosmetics before use if you have make-up on.
2. Wash your hands thoroughly.
3. Remove the POSIFORLID ® eyelid hygiene wipe from the individual packaging.
4. Gently stroke the lid hygiene cloth over the closed eyelid from the outside in.
5. Dispose of the eyelid hygiene wipe in a waste container after use.
6. Take a fresh eyelid hygiene wipe for the other eyelid and repeat the process.
