Galactomannan is a type of polysaccharide that occurs naturally in certain plants, especially legumes. Chemically, it is a polysaccharide composed of galactose and mannose units. Galactomannan is relatively water-soluble. FIBEgastrin sachets contain galactomannan fiber obtained from the endosperm of the guar legume (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba). Galactomannan is not digested and is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after ingestion. Guar gum is a valuable dietary fiber, a necessary nutrient in a well-balanced daily diet. Additionally, guar gum helps maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 10 g of guar gum – this amount is provided by 2 sachets of the dietary supplement.
Recommended daily intake:
Children over 3 years of age: 1/2 sachet daily. Adults: 1 sachet 1-2 times daily. Dissolve the sachet in a glass of water or add it to a meal. When added to a meal or liquid, the product dissolves completely, without changing the taste, smell, or texture. It can be added to drinks, yogurt, or soup. Consume immediately after preparation.
