Floradix® Iron for Children from the herbal specialist Salus combines health through nature and modern nutritional science in this product.
Floradix® Iron for Children was developed for normal intellectual development in children. It is based on our proven Floradix® with iron tonic. The dietary supplement Floradix® Eisen for children ensures the supply of readily available bivalent iron even when the child has a normal need. Every cell in the body needs oxygen as well as glucose to generate energy. The iron-rich hemoglobin in the red blood cells picks up oxygen in the lungs and transports it to the cells with the blood circulation. During growth, iron is needed to build up the blood pigment hemoglobin to transport oxygen.
Children and adolescents may have increased iron requirements as they grow. Accompanying symptoms of growth can be tiredness, reduced alertness and less drive. Especially in girls, the need for iron can increase after the onset of menstrual bleeding.
Even in times of high mental challenge, iron supports normal, vital cognitive development.
As a special feature, Floradix® Iron for Children also contains B vitamins and natural vitamin C from the acerola cherry.
