Salus® Floradix® Iron plus B vitamins
Floradix® Iron plus B vitamins capsules contain 14 mg of readily available iron (II) and vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, pantothenic acid, niacin and vitamin C per capsule.
Floradix® capsules contain no added folic acid and are specially designed for women who are already supplementing with folic acid.
They are suitable for girls from the age of 10 and women up to the age of 50. Floradix® capsules are used to supplement the iron supply, to avoid iron deficits and to cover the increased need during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Iron supplements can be particularly useful for women before the menopause because iron is lost through menstrual bleeding. A vegetarian lifestyle favors a reduced supply of iron in the diet.
Iron and the B vitamins B6 and B12 are important for the normal formation of red blood cells, which ensure the transport of oxygen to the cells for energy production. Vitamin C promotes the absorption of iron and, together with vitamins B6 and B12, is involved in the normal functioning of the immune system.
Ingredients:
Fish gelatine, olive oil, ferrous gluconate, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), coconut fat, dry extract 41% (from nettle leaves, fennel fruits, carrots, spinach leaves, centaury), maltodextrin, palm kernel oil, yellow wax, emulsifier lecithin, nicotinamine ( Niacin), Calcium d-Panthotenate, Dye Iron Oxide, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Thiamine Chloride Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12)
Recommended dosage
1 to 2 capsule(s) per day with sufficient liquid. It is recommended to take the capsule(s) ½ hour before a meal. It should be taken over a period of 4 to 8 weeks. If possible, the consumption should not take place together with coffee or black or green tea. Because the tannins it contains can impair the absorption of iron.

The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.
