Gelatum Aluminii Phosphorici Antacid Gel 4.5% Concentration 250g
A fast‑acting antacid gel that neutralises excess stomach acid and forms a protective layer on the mucosa of the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum. The formulation contains aluminium phosphate as the active ingredient, providing soothing and anti‑inflammatory effects. Peppermint oil adds a mild antispasmodic action that aids digestion. The oral suspension ensures even distribution of the medication across the gastric lining, promoting healing. Recommended dosage is a teaspoon of the gel three times daily, preferably before meals or at bedtime, not exceeding 100 ml per day. The product is stored below 25 °C and remains stable for 21 days after opening. It is suitable for treating heartburn, acid reflux and ulcer‑related discomfort.

An antacid that neutralizes gastric acid and also has a protective and astringent effect. Aluminum phosphate contained in the preparation protects the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum by creating a protective layer. The suspension form facilitates even distribution of the medication across the mucosa, promoting healing. Aluminum chloride, formed during the neutralization reaction, has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties. The addition of peppermint oil provides a mild antispasmodic effect and aids digestion.
Indications :
For the treatment of symptoms occurring in the course of the following diseases:
Gastric and duodenal ulcers (as a supportive or ad hoc treatment for symptoms),
hyperacidity of gastric juice,
gastroesophageal reflux disease, and heartburn
.
Contraindications:
Do not use Gelatum Alumini Phosphorici in the following cases
: - severe renal impairment
- hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Dosage:
Shake the bottle before use. Typically, a teaspoon (or a tablespoon in more severe cases) is taken orally three times daily before meals or 1-2 hours after each meal and immediately before bed. Do not exceed 100 ml daily. If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult a doctor.
Store below 25°C. Shelf life after first opening: 21 days. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use Gelatum Aluminii Phosphorici after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
