Specifically formulated for irritated and dry nasal mucosa, GeloSitin Nasal Care Spray from G. Pohl-Boskamp GmbH & Co.KG offers soothing relief. Both in winter and summer, the air from heating and air conditioning can dry out the nasal mucosa. The plant-based ingredients in GeloSitin provide long-lasting moisture, soothing the nasal passages and relieving itching and burning. With its intensive and lasting care, the spray also removes crusts and protects against their formation.
Scope of application
GeloSitin® nasal care is used for the physical treatment and moisturizing of dry or damaged
nasal mucosa, e.g. in cases of exposure to dry air (air conditioning, heating), excessive use of decongestant medications, dry nasal catarrh with or without crusting and scab formation at the nasal entrance or on the inner surface of the nasal wings.
Mode of action
With its physical mode of action, GeloSitin Nasal Care Spray gently removes bothersome crusts from the nose. The active ingredient is highly purified sesame oil. Using the spray nozzle, it is applied finely to the inner surface of the nostrils. This creates a nourishing and moisturizing protective film on the damaged nasal mucosa. The nasal oil softens scabs, crusts, and even the most stubborn crusts, removing them without causing further irritation. GeloSitin Nasal Care Spray contains alcohol. It is preservative-free and suitable for diabetics and vegans. Its orange peel and lemon oils give it a refreshing fragrance.
Dosage and application
This medical device is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Dosage recommendation:
- The nasal spray can be used up to 5 times a day if needed. To do this, administer 1 to 2 strong sprays into each nostril every 3-4 hours. You can also combine this nasal care with decongestant nasal sprays, but at different times.
Before first use, screw the dosing pump included in the package onto the glass bottle. To do this, remove the screw cap from the bottle, insert the thin tube of the dosing pump into the container, and remove the green protective cap. Always hold the spray bottle upright to ensure the pump functions correctly. Before first use and after prolonged periods of inactivity, quickly and firmly press the dispenser several times until a consistent spray is produced.
The medical device can be used for extended periods of use or for interval therapy.
