Indications

GeriatiVet is a product created for mature dogs of large and medium breeds after the age of 5/6. The ingredients contained in the tablets support the work of the entire body, having a positive effect on the joints, muscles, heart, immune and nervous systems. GeriatiVet is beta-glucan, glucosamine, L-carnitine, HMB, lutein, omega-3 acids and alpha-lipoic acid together in one tablet!

Ingredients

- Glucosamine helps to reduce degenerative changes in the joints of older dogs suffering from osteoarthritis. Supports the maintenance of the correct structure of the urinary tract epithelium, which reduces the occurrence of chronic urinary tract infections.
- ß-1,3/1,6-glucan is recognized by the immune system and causes its activation. As a result, the body is better adapted to combat potential threats, such as viral or bacterial infections.
- HMB protects skeletal muscle cells from decomposition and facilitates the maintenance of muscle mass in older animals, which due to their age may be at risk of skeletal muscle atrophy. It supports the process of protein synthesis in skeletal muscles and helps protect the animal from muscle wasting, regardless of its cause.
- Omega-3 fatty acids protect nervous system cells from damage and ensure their proper functioning. They have anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects. In older dogs, they can reduce pressure in the renal glomeruli (protective effect on the kidneys) and have an antiarrhythmic effect.
