  • Glimbax is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug used to treat symptomatic inflammation of the mouth and throat. It shows local action, relieves pain and reduces inflammation.

Composition:
diclofenac (Diclofenacum) 

Indications:
• Inflammation gums, throat, mouth 
• pain in the oral cavity after interventions dental 
• painful mechanical irritation to the mouth, throat 

Action:
Glimbax belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and is intended for topical use Within the mouth. Mechanism of analgesic and anti-inflammatory action consists in inhibiting enzyme - cycloxygenase. The enzyme responsible for prostaglandin synthesis in the body - substances which are mediators of pain and inflammation. Drug penetrates well through the oral mucosa, and builds up in the downhill, inflamed tissues. Diclofenac administered as a mouthwash solution is absorbed to a minimum in the bloodstream and therefore does not systemically work. 

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or any of the components of the preparation. 
• Do not use in children under 14 years of age. 
• Pregnancy and breast-feeding (only with doctor's approval). 

Glimbax dosage:
