Gyn-Lys does not drip and is water-soluble – it is comfortable for both doctor and patient! It contains no chemical preservatives, thus preventing burning or itching after the examination. With a pH value of 3.7–4.1, Gyn-Lys is optimally adapted to the vaginal pH.

Gyn-Lys spreads easily and is very easy to apply. The doctor performs the examination as usual, without the risk of altering the cells in the collected smears. Unlike the oily lubricants used previously, Gyn-Lys, being water-based, does not contaminate cytological smears.
