The hormones in a woman's body change almost every day. Therefore, if you want to have a child, it is advisable to determine the right time for pregnancy. The best way is to stick to the ovulation phase.
Sperm can survive in a woman's body for 3-4 days. But the chance that an egg will actually be fertilized only exists for about 48 hours. It is therefore advisable to plan sexual intercourse as well as possible so as not to miss the moment of ovulation. It is recommended to have sexual intercourse four days before ovulation and up to two days after ovulation. Between these days there should be two days without sexual intercourse.
The pH value of the vaginal environment becomes alkaline during ovulation and is therefore sperm-friendly. This change can be influenced by some external factors, such as an unhealthy lifestyle (e.g. smoking, alcohol consumption). If the vaginal environment remains acidic, the sperm die.
Mechanism of action
During ovulation, the pH of the vaginal environment changes from acidic to alkaline. Sperm needs an alkaline environment to survive in the female body and to be able to move towards the egg. However, there are many factors that can acidify the vaginal environment even during ovulation, which significantly affects sperm motility and viability.
GYNELLA® Natal Ferti Gel helps to maintain the pH of the vaginal environment at the right level.
Thanks to its composition, GYNELLA® Natal Ferti Gel adds the necessary nutrients to the sperm, which provide energy and mobility to the sperm so that they can reach and fertilize the egg faster.
In addition, the semen coagulates after ejaculation and it takes about 30 minutes for the process of so-called liquefaction. During this time, the semen loses its viscosity and the sperm can move forward.
GYNELLA® Natal Ferti Gel immediately keeps the viscosity of the sperm low and helps the sperm to reach the egg faster.
Application
Sperm can survive in the female reproductive organ for about 72 hours. This may sound like a long time, but on the one hand they have a long way to go to reach the egg, and on the other hand the egg cannot absorb the sperm until about 12-24 hours after ovulation.
For this reason, the sperm is only able to fertilize the egg for 48 hours after ejaculation and the egg can absorb the sperm 12-24 hours after ovulation. In order to make the best possible use of this time window in which the probability of conception is highest.
