Hydrogen peroxide is a liquid compound of hydrogen and oxygen and belongs to the class of weak acids. In chemistry, it has the formula H₂O₂, meaning it contains atomic (active) oxygen. In concentrated form, the substance is pale blue, but commercially it is highly diluted, rendering it completely colorless and odorless.
