Indication :
- The medicine is a medicine used to stimulate ammonia detoxification by increasing urea synthesis in the liver. It also serves to detoxify ammonia in the tissue, i.e. outside the liver (extrahepatic).
- The medicine is used to treat concomitant and secondary diseases due to impaired detoxification performance of the liver (e.g. liver cirrhosis) with the symptoms of latent and manifest hepatic encephalopathy.
