The indications are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: herpes labialis, herpes zoster.

Contraindications and interactions:
None known.
Dosage and application:
Unless otherwise prescribed: In the early stages, dab on every hour for 2 minutes for one day. To do this, soak a very small amount of cotton wool with 4-5 drops of ContraVir. Otherwise: on the first day, dab on every hour for 2 minutes, on the second day every 2 hours, on the third day every 3 hours. ContraVir can also be used internally. Take 10-15 drops 2-3 times daily.
Mechanism of action:
The ingredients in ContraVir provide rapid relief from itchy skin irritations and viral skin infections. This is particularly helpful in the treatment of herpes labialis.
