Turmeric capsules and Curcugreen ™
With Curcugreen ™ we use one of the highest quality turmeric extracts available on the market in our turmeric capsules. Curcugreen ™ is a patented raw material and makes our turmeric capsules 7 times more effective. The substances of the turmeric plant are extracted in a particularly gentle manner and then recombined in a special way to create a highly pure turmeric extract.
These three substances from the turmeric root are called curcuminoids: curcumin (which gives the powder its yellow color), demethoxycurcumin and bis-demethoxycurcumin. In the plant, curcuminoids occur naturally together with essential oils. When the turmeric powder is dried, the essential oils evaporate, leaving the curcuminoids. However, they are not water-soluble. This is a problem because the body has difficulty absorbing them. In Curcugreen ™, the essential oils are specifically extracted from the plant and then added back to the dried powder in a special process.
