ICHTHOLAN 20 %
The black drawing salve ICHTHOLAN ® 20 % contains the active ingredient ammonium bituminosulfonate (ICHTHYOL ® ). Studies and investigations prove:
The active ingredient fights bacteria. Inflammation is inhibited, the painful symptoms are reduced. The black drawing salve loosens the skin barrier and "draws" pus to the surface of the skin so that it drains away more easily.
The black drawing salve ICHTHOLAN ® 20 % penetrates deep into the skin and quickly "draws" inflammation and pus out of the skin.
ICHTHOLAN ® 20 % is used for
• nail bed inflammations
• razor bumps
• inflammations caused by splinters and thorns
• sweat gland inflammations
ICHTHOLAN ® 20 % is applied thickly to the affected area and covered with a plaster or bandage that fits all around.
Important for purulent inflammations of the skin: Above all: act immediately to prevent the inflammation from spreading and to avoid a visit to the doctor! Take precautions by putting ICHTHOLAN ® in your medicine cabinet.
Good to know: ICHTHOLAN ® is available in three strengths: 10%, 20% and 50% The gentle ICHTHOLAN 10% ointment was developed especially for the treatment of sensitive skin areas, such as the intimate area or face. The highly concentrated black ICHTHOLAN ® 50% drawing ointment is used when pus has accumulated deep in the skin, as in the case of boils and abscesses. The basic rule is: don't use a sledgehammer to crack a nut! As with any medicine, as much active ingredient as necessary should be used, but as little as possible.
