  • the preparation is a herbal medicine for use in increased sweating.
  • Before taking the preparation, the increased sweating must be clarified by a doctor.

  • Always take the preparation exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • adult
    • Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 300 mg sage leaf dry extract)
    • Total daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 900 mg dry sage leaf extract)
  • There are no data available in the elderly or in patients with renal or hepatic impairment that would necessitate an adjustment of the dosage.

 

  • duration of use
    • Due to the thujone content, preparations made from sage leaves should not be taken for longer than 14 days.
    • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

  • If you take more than you should
    • In this case, notify your doctor. This person can decide on any necessary measures. The listed side effects may occur more frequently.

 

  • If you forget to take a dose
    • Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose, but continue to take it as directed by your doctor or as described in the package leaflet.

    • Hypersensitivity reactions (rashes, itching, hives, swelling) have occurred.
    • At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction, the drug should not be taken again.

    • No action is required.

Contraindications

  • The medicine must not be taken
    • if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to sage leaves and preparations or any of the other ingredients.

  • There are no adequate studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and lactation. For this reason and because of the thujone content, the preparation should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

    • If the symptoms last longer than a week or if unclear, persistent symptoms such as night sweats, increased temperature or weight loss, please consult your doctor.
    • Children and young people:
      • There are no adequately documented studies on the use of this medicine in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It should therefore not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 18.
