Irbutin, irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain and distension

Irbutin is food for special medical purposes for use in adults and children from 7 years of age. The preparation is used in dietary treatment, including in functional disorders of the digestive tract and with irritable bowel syndrome.

Irbutin ingredients:

Sodium butyrate, shell: stabilizer - mono-and diglycerides of fatty acids, thickening agent: sodium alginate, bulking agent: cellulose, capsule: thickening agent: hydroxypropolmethylcellulose, color: titanium dioxide, anti-caking agent - magnesium salts of fatty acids, bulking agent: cellulose, bulking agent: calcium phosphates.

Nutritional value in one capsule:energy value - 10kJ / 3kcal; fat <0.5g, including: saturated fatty acids <0.5g; carbohydrates <0.0g, including: sugars <0.0g; protein <0.0 g, fiber <0 g, salt - 0.09 g; microencapsulated sodium butyrate 50% - 300mg, including: sodium butyrate - 150mg.

Action of Irbutin:

The active substance in food for special medical purposes Irbutin is sodium butyrate (sodium butyric acid). The preparation uses sodium butyrate in the form of micro-encapsulated granules, which prevents the degradation of butyric acid by bile salts and digestive enzymes in the upper gastrointestinal tract (thanks to which sodium butyrate reaches the intestines and is gradually released). This ingredient supports the maintenance of the proper structure and function of the intestines. Sodium butyrate is also a source of energy for colonocytes, i.e. intestinal epithelial cells, supports their growth and regeneration.

Application:
Food for special medical purposes Irbutin intended for use in the dietary management of functional disorders of the digestive tract (abdominal pain and distension, diarrhea, constipation, functional dyspepsia), IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), intestinal flora disorders after antibiotic therapy, diverticular disease of the large intestine, in conditions after diagnostic and surgical procedures in the gastrointestinal tract. For use in adults and children over 7 years of age.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against the effects of moisture and light. It is not suitable for use as the sole source of food. Do not use parenterally.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation.

How to use Irbutin capsules:

Use under medical supervision. Adults: use one capsule twice a day - morning and evening. The preparation should be used for at least 3 months. Children over 7 years of age: use one capsule. It is recommended to take in the evening. The preparation should be used for at least 6 weeks.
