This product combines two high-quality algae extracts: Irish sea moss (Chondrus crispus) and bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus). It uses concentrated extracts derived from Irish sea moss and bladderwrack powder.
Irish sea moss belongs to the red algae family and naturally contains polysaccharides such as carrageenan. These water-soluble compounds can form gel-like structures when combined with liquid. As an extract, Irish sea moss offers a practical and tasteless option for use in relevant products.
Bladderwrack (Fucus vesiculosus) is a brown alga found in the North Atlantic. It naturally contains iodine as well as other plant compounds such as phlorotannins and polysaccharide-rich compounds, including fucoidan.
