PURE ENCAPSULATIONS Iron Complex Capsules
Dosage form:Capsules
Iron Complex
Nutrients for energy & blood formation
Bioavailable iron with co-factors
Iron is involved in the formation of hemoglobin (red blood pigment) and is therefore important for oxygen transport. Iron alone can sometimes be too little, because co-factors are important for effective iron metabolism. Our Iron Complex contains iron as a chelate complex, iron glycinate. This gentle iron compound is particularly well tolerated and protects the trace element from binding to other food components, such as phytates. The co-factors contained, vitamin B2, B6, B12 and folate, contribute to normal energy metabolism and thus support the trace element iron. Vitamin C supports the absorption of iron from food and vitamin A supports normal iron metabolism. Copper is also involved in energy metabolism and also supports iron transport in the body.
