Mechanism of action:
Thanks to its protective mechanical effect, Doppelherz ® physically interacts with the intestinal mucous membrane in irritable bowel syndrome: It softens a mucoadhesive film that protects the mucous membrane from contact with irritants and at the same time helps to prevent the absorption of dangerous substances. Thanks to a physical mechanism, intestinal gases are absorbed, thus reducing the typical symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

Take one tablet twice daily between or before meals as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
If pain is acute, the dose can be doubled. Depending on the intensity of the disease, it is recommended to extend the treatment period from two to six weeks and repeat the treatment in case of recurrent symptoms.
